Demons Are Dust Part II

I use to curse rhymes but now I base um/on the Bible before I place um/Bucket you were mainstream you went out G/Jesus Christ is mainstream to me/my raps were weak but now they're everlasting/use to say um slow, now I say um fast and/now I say um well you can tell they sell/turn white m.c.s black and black m.c.s pale/give them more of what they are looking for/leave your spirit pure/once my rap was cancer, now it's the cure...

HOOK: Dust....them demons are dust.

I smile on stage when most guys just smirk/joyed and employed by Christ my work/what did I come for what can I prove?/that Christians too can move and groove/we rap for the gospel not for status or gain/we rap for the hurts, the hopes, the pain/we know that God and money just don't mix/we came to heal, bind, repair, and fix/with his spirit we can do it, can heal/so people can hear, see, and feel/our reward is eternal not temporal/we do God's will/we do what's moral/we're not perfect but perfection is the stance we take/kill, spit, kick, that's the chance we take/we preach Christ, faith, hope, and love/is it faith or works?/or all of the above?/we're two rap ministers/some say sinisters/that's when it's the time/to rhyme/in my prime/at the drop of a dime I kick lines and lines and lines/cuz ain't one as clever/with as much fervor/did I pull your lever?/never/the funkiest rap evangel ever...

HOOK: dust...them demons are dust.

My name is ryan/and I'm not lyin'/and demons that mess with me will be tryin'/for a long time to resist my rhyme/but they can't climb to my height/cuz I'm out of sight/you think you got a chance well your chance is slight/I don't make up rhymes they come to me/I don't read music it just runs through me/flowin'through my mind like water through a river/when I enter the room all the demons quiver/I'm a warrior but I'm not the boss/and one mega rhyme from me and it will be your loss/cuz I'm elite/don't know about defeat/I'm set/my name is Ryan Burkett/you better seize the day cuz there won't be a better one/if your girl ain't got a Bible you just better get her one/cuz here comes the doom/that could fill your room/the longest day today no need to assume/these rhymes you hear are only one small portion/gonna knock you out way outta proportion/Jesus gives me rich life, not just fortune/my rhymes are serious/and there is no distortion...

HOOK:  Dust...them demons are dust.
